ISNAD Policies

Terms and Conditions


Enrolment is necessary for all courses at ISNAD Institute.

Each applicant is required to register an account first on the ISNAD website in order to enrol onto the courses. Forgotten passwords for accounts can be reset online. Exceptionally we may accept enrolment through another means for applicants without Internet access.

Completion of the enrolment process is either by payment of the full course fee or by the setting up of an instalment payment plan.

There are no requirements to enrol on Foundation Year 1 and Year 2. To enrol on Intermediate the student must have completed their rudimentary knowledge of Islamic subjects. Successful completion of Classical Arabic I, Classical Arabic II & 2 other units from intermediate level is a prerequisite for progress onto Advanced 1. Completion of Advanced 1 is a prerequisite for progress onto Advanced 2 and completion of Advanced 2 for Advanced 3. 


Foundation and Intermediate students will receive certificate upon completion.

The pass mark is 50%+.

Advanced students will receive certificates according to their level of achievement:

Pass: 60% - 69%

Merit: 70% - 79%

Distinction: 80% - 89%

Distinction + Ijazah to teach: 90%+ and a successful interview by a panel of teachers.

Course Fees

Fees for all courses are shown on the website. Financial assistance may be available for those unable to pay the full course fee.

Course Materials

Each student will receive the required course materials on the first day of the course. There will be a charge for replacement course materials requested by students once the course starts.

Online Resources

Online recordings of classes will be made available to all enrolled students on a weekly basis to help with review of notes. The recordings are for personal use only and must not be shared with anyone who is not enrolled on the course or via Social Media platforms. A breach of this may lead to access to the recordings being removed.

Recordings will be accessible from the website. We reserve the right to remove recordings at any time. Students will be notified as soon as possible in the event of this occurring.

Recordings for each unit will be available up to 4 weeks after the completion of that unit only.


ISNAD Institute reserves the right to change the venue of a course from the one advertised. Students will be notified of any changes.

Students wishing to change between the venues in Birmingham & Manchester must request to do this in writing. Requests of this nature will only be granted at the discretion of the administrators and are dependent upon places being available at the new venue.

Students are expected to conduct themselves with propriety at all times, showing respect for the premises and the property of others. We expect students to leave the premises clean and tidy at the end of each session.


A timetable of the academic year & classes will be provided to each student.

Classes & teachers may be subject to change on some weeks if necessary. Students will be given prior notice, where possible, of any such changes.

ISNAD Institute reserves the right to cancel a class if needed. Students will be informed in advance.


ISNAD Institute will keep students updated of any changes to class timings, dates or venues via email. It is the students’ responsibility to ensure we have the correct contact information and to keep a regular check on email communication.

Student Conduct

Students are expected to maintain Islamic etiquettes in all interactions with teachers, fellow students and course administrators. Serious breaches of this may lead to a student being excluded from the course.

Limitations of Liability

ISNAD Institute shall not be responsible for any loss or injury obtained when attending as a student of ISNAD Institute. By registering online for the course you agreed that you, your heirs, legal representatives, or any member of your family will not make a legal claim against or sue ISNAD Institute for its work in managing and administering the ISNAD courses. If any portion of this agreement is unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. This agreement shall be construed, enforced, and governed according to the laws of England and applicable to agreements made and to be performed in the United Kingdom. Any reference herein to the limitation of liability of ISNAD Institute shall also mean that all agents, servants and employees of ISNAD Institute shall have no individual liability whatsoever in connection with such specified events. This agreement sets forth the entire agreement of the parties and may only be changed or provisions waived by a writing signed by both parties.

Refund Policy

Withdrawing from a Course

If you withdraw from the course a week before the start date, you will receive a refund of course fees minus an admin fee no greater than 10% of the total fee.

If you withdraw from the course within 7 days of the course starting you will receive a refund of 75% of the course fee.

If you withdraw from the course after 7 days, but before the first 4 weeks of the course start date, you will receive 50% of the course fee.

Withdrawal for a refund will not be permitted after four weeks.

For short courses (less than 10 weeks), refunds will only be given for withdrawal prior to the course starting. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals after the course begins.

There are no transfers between units.

Refunds will be administered within 14 days of requests being made.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
